Samuel Griffin
Founder and Creative Producer
Sam Griffin graduated from Iowa State University with a BA in advertising and graphic design and moved to New York City to pursue a career in magazine publishing. After a three-day stint at T.G.I. Friday’s, he was offered his first graphic design job at Traditional Home magazine.
Over the next 15 years, Sam lent his creative talent and leadership to the most influential home, food, and fashion brands in the world. In 2009, Sam was the youngest Art Director in Condé Nast’s history, and earned multiple recognitions in Adweek and Advertising Age. He was the creative lead on ShopBazaar.com, the first content-to-commerce platform by Harper’s Bazaar. During his time at Garden & Gun, he managed the design and promotion of their premier restaurant the Garden & Gun Club (Atlanta).
Sam founded Griffin & Company in 2014 and currently lives in Charleston, South Carolina, with his husband.
From the time that Sam was strong enough to hold a crayon, he had an affinity for art, design, and yes, rainbows.
